We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Content Revenue Accounting team. This team provides critical support for the licensing and distribution of intellectual property (IP) for HBO and Max, including functional IP and symbolic IP. The DTC Content Revenue team also supports Consumer Products, where the HBO and Max brand is licensed to other licensees for merchandise and e-commerce sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze intercompany transactions and reporting
  • Perform analysis of participations and residuals accruals and liabilities
  • Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly Content Licensing and Consumer Product accounting deliverables in accordance with US GAAP and Company policies and practices
  • Assist with Financial Systems Transformation projects
  • Prepare monthly subledger to general ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare quarterly SEC Reporting and tax packages
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required and a strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX requirements, and relevant local GAAP as required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited university
  • CPA license (or equivalent) attained or progress toward attainment
  • Detailed-oriented with a strong desire to meet deadlines and other relevant performance metrics
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, highly organized
