About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer to join our Microsoft Detection and Response Team (DART). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting our top customers with complex cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in containing and recovering from adversary attacks, prioritizing efforts to minimize impact
  • Develop and execute recovery plans for large-scale incidents, including ransomware and destructive campaigns
  • Deploy forensic collection tooling across diverse environments, identifying potential threats and providing proactive defense
  • Conduct research and analysis on security threats, summarizing findings and sharing across the team
  • Collaborate with customers to improve their cybersecurity posture, performing knowledge transfer to prepare them for today's threat landscape
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection
  • 3+ years of experience with Threat Actor containment, rapid recovery of critical infrastructure, and eviction of a Threat Actor after an investigation
  • Proficiency in one or more query languages (KQL, SPL, SQL, etc.)
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, large-scale computing, modeling, cybersecurity, and/or anomaly detection
  • Experience with PowerShell and bash scripting, third-party security products, and Microsoft Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementations
  • Understanding of DevOps concepts, virtualization platforms, and IP network management
