Transform Business Insights with SAP Analytics Cloud

At SAP, we're seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Data Developer to join our team and drive business success through data-driven decision making. As a key member of our Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing insightful reports and data visualizations using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business objectives;
  • Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SAP Analytic Cloud;
  • Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to gather, prepare, and analyze data from various sources;
  • Establish and maintain best practices for SAC reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability;
  • Train and support end-users on how to interact with and interpret SAC reports and dashboards;
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP Analytic Cloud capabilities and recommend new features or enhancements to improve reporting efficiencies;

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in SAP Analytics Cloud front-end development;
  • Strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of data visualization principles and best practices;
  • Proficient in data modeling, visualizations, and the design / development of dashboards (especially related to business KPI's);
  • Expertise and practical usage of SAC data connectivity options and integration of multiple data sources into visualization models (incl. HANA Database, SQLs DB family);
  • Ability to work with a backend by doing data optimization on a source level, smart data search and filtering;
  • Good communicator, ideally with the ability to present ideas or solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audience;
  • Good to have: Other business intelligence tools (SAP BOBJ, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA etc.);
  • Good to have: Proficient in SAC scripting and advanced analytics capabilities;
  • Familiar with HCSM system is a plus.
