The Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) team is responsible for SAP's infrastructure backbone and technical foundation, including state-of-the-art data centers and associated platforms. These form the basis for all of SAP's Cloud solutions, as well as internal development, training, and demo landscapes.

Our team excels in incident management, change and problem management, service reliability engineering, and service quality assurance activities. These efforts focus on preventing, avoiding, and rapidly remediating cloud service operation issues.

We are seeking a Senior SAP Analytics Cloud Developer to leverage SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC) and deliver insightful reports and data visualizations that drive informed decision-making across our organization. This role involves comprehensive design and development of SAP Analytics Cloud models and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and business objectives;
  • Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SAP Analytic Cloud;
  • Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to gather, prepare, and analyze data from various sources, including SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA, and external sources;
  • Establish and maintain best practices for SAC reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability;
  • Train and support end-users on how to interact with and interpret SAC reports and dashboards;
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP Analytic Cloud capabilities and recommend new features or enhancements to improve reporting efficiencies;

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in SAP Analytics Cloud front-end development;
  • Strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of data visualization principles and best practices;
  • Proficient in data modeling, visualizations, and dashboard design and development, particularly related to business KPIs;
  • Expertise in SAC data connectivity options and integration of multiple data sources into visualization models, including HANA Database and SQL DB family;
  • Ability to work with backend systems by optimizing data on a source level, performing smart data search and filtering;
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to present ideas or solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Familiarity with other business intelligence tools, such as SAP BOBJ, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP HANA, BW, and S/4HANA, is a plus;
  • Knowledge of SAC scripting and advanced analytics capabilities is also desirable;
  • Familiarity with HCSM system is a plus.
