About the Role

Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is seeking a highly skilled CI Manager to drive, manage, and lead all continuous improvement programs, tools, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a strong deployment of safe work environment while maintaining high levels of 5S+ across all product lines in the plant.
  • Drive the deployment of Eaton Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, EBS Pull, and Prolaunch systems.
  • Develop new or modify existing processes or procedures to ensure continuous improvement on safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction indicators.
  • Lead and deploy the EBS Pull and Operational Excellence programs, concepts, and methodologies throughout the plant.
  • Plan, develop, and execute annual cost savings strategy to hit the financial target defined in accordance with the divisional goals.
  • Develop and administer training and instructional programs to provide the technical competencies to support the advancement of products.
  • Manage and coordinate the annual, monthly, or weekly CI events calendar, such as Kaizens, BPIs, VSMs, and CI Councils.
  • Plan and introduce best practices in all areas of the operation, following the ADKAR methodology.
  • Design and deploy Leader Standard Work concepts and Tier meetings execution and associated reports and documentation.
  • Use data analysis software (i.e., Excel, Access & Minitab) in root cause analysis efforts, including 8D analysis.
EHS Responsibilities
  • Separate hazardous waste from common waste.
  • Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers.
  • Keep clean the work area contaminant-free.
  • Do not waste water.
  • Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment.
  • Identify and properly dispose of all chemicals that may contaminate the environment.
  • Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills).
  • Report the entry of new chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to maintain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them.
  • Contain oil spills and repair as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing people and/or project teams.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Program/Project management in manufacturing environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a process or testing engineer on electrical products.
  • Proven and strong knowledge in TS949, Analytical/Statistical Tools & Methods, External Requirements, Product/Process Quality Planning, Lean Manufacturing Concepts, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System.
