Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled MPS Leader to join our team at MAHLE Behr Mexico. As a key member of our production and industrial engineering department, you will be responsible for leading lean manufacturing initiatives and programs throughout the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the education, coaching, and mentoring of all employees in lean (MPS) methodology.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and programs throughout the plant, including workflow improvement by Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and work station efficiency.
- Identify suitable areas for further specialist projects, including estimating potential savings.
- Conduct project management in collaboration with MPS responsible in plant and guide project participants (external and internal).
- Plan, lead, execute, and hand-over of MPS-Specialist Projects.
- Transfer the lean mentality and culture within the plant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business Management, or Engineering field, from a four-year college or university with 5 yrs minimum professional experience, or foreman or certified technician with 8 yrs professional experience.
- Certified MPS Specialist.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
