About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner Supervisor to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a unique opportunity to work for a leading global manufacturer of electronic components and contribute to the success of our company.

As a Production Planner Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring plant material is available according to production needs. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels within targets set for each product or product line, as well as supervising planners to ensure productive material management.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineer, or similar field. They should have good communication skills in English (90%) and experience in material planning, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.

We offer a competitive salary package, including $105,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on experience. Responsibilities:
- Coach and manage daily work activities, with accountability for team performance.
- Identify areas for development and recommend ways to improve processes.
- Lead changes that affect team processes.
- Assist the team with difficult or complex concerns; act as an escalation point of contact.
- Train team members and provide input to performance reviews.

Requirements:
- Degree: Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineer, or similar.
- Good understanding and ability to communicate in English (90%).
- Knowledge in other language(s) is an advantage.
- From 3-5 years experience minimum in a similar position in material planning experience.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence, technical / product information, policies and procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to complete written forms and write routine complex procedures, reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all organizational levels as well as customer or supplier representatives.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Previous experience with Multinational Corporations (MNC) is an advantage.
- Be able to work under time constraints.
- Willing to travel regularly for the job.
