About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information for our North LATAM cluster companies. Your work will contribute to maintaining proper financial controls, optimizing accounting processes, and enabling management to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting journal entries and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
- Record and process payroll, analyze bank transactions, and calculate intercompany invoicing.
- Analyze, calculate, and record accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities to maintain financial stability and compliance.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure proper analysis and resolution of open items and cleaning accounts balances.
- Execute internal controls and develop end-to-end process documentation/manuals to enhance efficiency and transparency.
- Support internal and external audit process follow-ups to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects as required to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of Accounting experience, preferably in multinational companies.
- Experience in general accounting records and knowledge of SAP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Power Point, and knowledge in Power BI.
