Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain a safe work environment by promoting a culture of accident prevention, investigation, and rule application.
- Design and optimize manufacturing cells, calculate and control optimal capacities of production lines and fabrication processes.
- Verify time standards and calculate earn hours per family product, facilitate A3 problem-solving, and design future state value streams.
- Create technical documentation, contribute to the advancement of the organization in JCM, and support the sharing of best practices through internal and external benchmarking activities.
- Evaluate and modify production line and cell layouts, lead and update databases demonstrating optimal product routes, production times, and operator headcounts.
- Work with multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing, reduce high-risk priority numbers in manufacturing PFMEA's, and drive process-related activities for New Product Introduction.
- Coach, mentor, and train Manufacturing Technicians within the Manufacturing team.
- Industrial, Mechatronic, or Mechanic Engineering Degree.
- 3+ years of experience in Assembly process.
- Spoken and written English, with the ability to carry on a conversation without difficulty.
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement, line balancing, capacity calculations, planning, and layout.
- Project management experience and a proven record of successful change management accomplishments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work effectively.
- HVAC Industries experience.
- Project Management Certification.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
