Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits to determine compliance with our Quality Assurance Program.
  • Work closely with QA Architects to design, implement, and deliver large-scale software testing solutions.
  • Lead the test automation implementation across the organization, ensuring Software Development Engineers in Test and Quality Assurance Engineers adhere to best practices and standards.
  • Encourage innovation and advocate technical direction, defining best practices and principles.
  • Be accountable for the quality of products, systems, and solutions created and delivered by the value stream.
  • Analyze problems, take corrective action, and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Communicate corrective action to customers as required.
  • Review customer requests for changes against Quality Assurance standards.
  • Create, review, and disseminate sprint and release-level metrics.
  • Coordinate end-to-end testing with 20+ QA scrum teams.
  • Ensure downstream and upstream risks are communicated, documented, and mitigated.
  • Use Jira to manage testing artifacts, test execution, and defect management.
  • Review test cases to ensure robustness and coverage.
  • Develop and track action plans for risks and their mitigation during test execution.
  • Support go-live activities, including production verification and post-production issues.
  • Ensure conformance to performance optimization, interoperability standards, and requirements.
  • Deliver on commitments and manage software development services to accomplish assigned work.
  • Maintain project delivery timeliness and budgets.
  • Perform functional testing with different browsers, tablets, and phones.
  • Communicate with project managers to define test strategy, scope, and evaluate test results.
  • Maintain documentation on QA standards, processes, and changes.
  • Lead an Agile value stream of 20+ QA engineering teams focused on Software Development.
  • Responsible for successful execution and informing team and managers of obstacles, issues, and risks.
  • Participate in design discussions and technical meetings.
  • Conduct occasional field testing.
  • Mentor and train team members in Quality standards.
