**Job Summary**

Opmobility is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and errors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Establish and Manage Quality Timelines: Collaborate with the Program Manager to establish and manage quality timelines for projects.
  • Coordinate Quality Activities: Coordinate all necessary PPAP-related activities with Product Engineers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Plant Quality representatives.
  • Analyze Quality Risks: Identify and alert quality risks and deviations within the scope of the project, and have the authority to stop production and/or program design in the event of unchangeable violations and quality risks.
  • Coach and Guide Team Members: Coach and guide platform team members regarding the utilization of quality tools, including method, capitalization, warranty, and quality history review.
  • Represent Quality in Engineering Change Approval Process: Represent Quality during engineering change approval process through SOP.
  • Participate in Design Reviews: Participate in design reviews for platform and project-related activities.
  • Support Plant Quality Team: Support the Plant Quality Team during launch and for up to 6 months after SOP.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.

**Additional Responsibilities**

  • Ensure Quality of Trials and New Products: Ensure the quality of trials and new products to achieve customer and company requirements.
  • Measure and Collect Data: Measure and collect data of product characteristics to report on statistical results.
  • Ensure IATF and QSB Systems: Ensure IATF and QSB systems are in place to identify gaps and close out open issues.
  • Maintain Data History: Maintain history of data on key processes, including change point history and retrieval.
  • Develop Training Modules: Develop training modules, approved by QEM, for all QE department members.
  • Prepare PPAP: Prepare PPAP to obtain customer approval of new programs.
  • Support New Product Development: Support the development of QA work instructions, check sheets, final inspection records, and provide approval.
  • Coordinate Quality Relevant Tasks: Coordinate and assure the establishment of all quality relevant tasks within the platform project.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
