Senior Associate Internal Auditor

Kroll, a leading global valuation and corporate finance advisor, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Internal Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and execution of the annual audit plan, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform audit assignments, reviewing workpapers and audit reports, and editing reports prepared by other auditors.
- Schedule and plan audits, initiating project planning, assessing risk, and developing audit direction.
- Lead audit teams, providing guidance and oversight to ensure quality outcomes and timely completion of projects.
- Perform preliminary planning and establish direction for audits, providing leadership to assigned auditors and managing projects to quality outcomes while meeting established time budgets.
- Train new staff, as needed, and stay up-to-date with Kroll's policies and procedures, current developments in accounting and auditing professions, and changes in local, state, and federal laws, as applicable.
- Coordinate and interact with external audit firms performing audits of Kroll's financial statements.
- 2-5+ years of experience in financial audit of an organization of repute, preferably with a Chartered Accountant designation.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence change and work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mind, and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of public auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, communicate effectively, and provide technical guidance and training to end-users.
- Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles, financial recordkeeping procedures, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to persuade and influence others, manage confidential and sensitive information, and travel up to 20% of the time.
