We are seeking a skilled Pastelero A to join our culinary team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality baked goods and pastries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake breads and pastries, including doughs and fillings, to meet quality and presentation standards.
- Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements and plan accordingly.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance and report any issues to management.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
