We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing breads and pastries, including preparing doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare breads and pastries according to recipes and quality standards
- Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
