Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to join our People team in Mexico City. This role will involve partnering closely with the US-based People business partner team to design and execute organizational goals, including organizational design, coaching, and talent development.

About the Role

This hybrid position (3 days per week) requires collaboration with other HR Business Partners and business leadership to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives. Key responsibilities include contributing to the development, implementation, and evolution of the organizational strategy in areas such as performance management and talent development in Mexico, designing and evolving the organization structure for Mexico teams, and managing all Mexico performance management and employee relations issues that arise.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:
  • Collaborating with other HR Business Partners and business leadership to establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results;
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, and evolution of the organizational strategy in areas such as performance management and talent development in Mexico;
  • Designing and evolving the organization structure for Mexico teams;
  • Managing all Mexico performance management and employee relations issues that arise;
  • Collaborating with other People functions to share best practices, deliver value-added solutions, and implement core HR initiatives;
  • Participating in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and trainings;
  • Collaborating with the People team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged, accountable, and inspired to deliver top business results;
  • Supporting and enhancing current people processes, including performance calibration, compensation cycle, promotions;
  • Educating leaders and team members on compensation practices, including compensation, performance feedback, calibration, and career development;
Our Vision Of You

We are looking for an experienced HR professional with 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced start-up environment, ideally within an international matrixed organization. Key qualifications include deep knowledge of local employment law, HR policies, procedures, compliance, and practices; ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment and navigate leaders through various organizational changes; experience in developing, executing, and maintaining HR projects and programs; demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to listen and understand employee needs together with company requirements; strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills as well as excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; and experience with Workday and Culture Amp is a plus. English professional proficiency is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
