Pastry Baker

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Baker to join our team at the JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, breads, and desserts.

**Responsibilities**

• Prepare doughs and fillings, proofing, baking, and decorating as appropriate.
• Review production sheets to understand the variety of baked goods to be produced daily.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists.
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
• Keep the Chef informed of excess food items for planning of daily specials.

**Requirements**

• No supervisory experience required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience in a bakery or pastry shop.
• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred.

**Salary Range**

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
