Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to lead our logistics operations in Mexico. As a key member of our market supply chain leadership team, you will play a critical role in defining the supply chain strategy for the market and driving improvements in logistics effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics operations in Mexico, including inbound and outbound primary logistics, imports of finished goods, finished goods/secondary logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics performance, including transportation and warehouse operations, and drive cost savings through supplier management and contract development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve end-to-end processes and deliver Diageo goods to customers.
  • Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing functional expertise and support for continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including customs and excise, and maintain accurate inventory tracking and management.
  • Develop and manage budgets, track and prepare variance analysis reports, and maintain relationships with internal teams and external customers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in handling and developing logistics networks, suppliers, and capabilities within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.
  • Profound understanding of supply chain processes and their interactions.
  • Warehouse and transport functional expertise, including logistics standard processes, transportation, and control tower execution.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, leadership, influence, and teamwork skills.
  • Confirmed business change management and continuous improvement background and skills.
  • English and Spanish proficiency (written and spoken).
