Estimator Senior

**Job Summary**

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Estimator Senior to join our team. As an Estimator Senior, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting accurate estimates of how much it will cost to provide a client or potential client with services.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of project estimating norms and procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate project estimates, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and company standards.
• Support senior members of the estimating team in the management of project estimating norms and the preparation and filing of project estimate documentation.
• Act as a focal point for several smaller, less complex project scopes.

**Requirements**

• Typically a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).
• Typically requires a minimum of six (6) years of progressive industry experience, with at least four (4) years in estimating positions.
• Good knowledge of estimating techniques and systems, with a detailed understanding of how these are applied.
• Detailed understanding of project management principles and techniques.
• Good understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management.
