Job Title: Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team at Charger Logistics Inc. Our company is a world-class asset-based carrier with locations across North America, providing top-notch logistics solutions for over 20 years.

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing and updating our tax database, preparing tax payments and estimates, and completing quarterly and annual tax reports. You will also recommend tax strategies that align with our business goals and prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our tax database to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and submit tax payments and estimates in a timely manner
  • Compile and analyze tax data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize refunds
  • Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field
  • 4-5 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in Mexican taxes and audits
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including equipment financing
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
