We are currently looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Tax Payroll Auditor.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and company policies.
• Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies, investigating issues and implementing corrective measures.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations related to payroll and employee compensation.
• Prepare and submit necessary tax filings and reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Analyze payroll data and trends to identify potential areas of risk or improvement.
• Utilize software tools to generate reports and insights for management.
• Work closely with the HR and finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist in the training of HR personnel on payroll tax regulations and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of audits, findings, and recommendations.
• Prepare documentation for external audits and provide support during the audit process.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry standards to inform policy revisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's’ Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
• 4-5 years of proven experience as a payroll auditor or in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and present findings clearly.
• Certification (e.g., CPA, CPP) is a plus.
• Fluent English is a must
