Job Title: Green Mobility ExpertSalary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

This role requires you to be located in Mexico, specifically in CDMX.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute a consistent local PR & Communication strategy aligned with the global communication strategy and the global and local company business goals;
  • Implement a 360 and thought leadership approach into the communication planning across all relevant channels and formats;
  • Proactively position relevant content, news and people to ensure positive coverage for the company and its brands;
  • Build and maintain media relations, managing media inquiries;
  • Organize press events, incl. press conferences, media sessions, roundtables;
  • Closely collaborate with the local & global Public Affairs team, aligning on communications activities;
  • Scout for speaking opportunities and event mapping to leverage company visibility;
  • Media monitoring and reporting;
  • Crisis Communications management;
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure consistent, one-voice brand communication and 360 approach;
  • Manage communications of ESG/CSR related topics;
  • Coordinate activities with HQs, Local Team and Bus Partners;
Requirements:
  • A degree in communications, public relations or similar;
  • More than 7 years of experience in an communications/public relations role, meaning you manage press relations, regularly talk to journalists, pitch stories, write press releases, etc.;
  • An innovative, 360° strategic mindset but are at the same time, hands-on, understanding the bread & butter of business;
  • Strong media contacts across Mexico, specifically in CDMX, and a good understanding of the media landscape;
  • Experience in the new economy travel industry and/or scale-up is a plus;
  • You can multitask, juggling several priorities at the same time and build a brand from scratch;
  • Cool under pressure - you are able to effectively solve crisis situations;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and a strong analytical mind set;
  • You are creative, committed, take initiative and have a performance driven mindset;
  • Native level Spanish speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills, near-native level English speaker;
