Job Summary

The Demand Planner will prepare business-related analyses and research for Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics. This role will involve preparing forecasts, analyzing trends, and using the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs, and charts to ensure efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project management and administration, including determining the direction and implementation of projects.
  • Assist in preparing supply chain, material management, and logistics research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.
  • Serve as a primary liaison to a business unit to ensure their supply chain, material management, and logistics needs are met.
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Implement lean concepts and continuous improvements regarding supply chain, material management, and logistics systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 0-1 years of SML or related experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral).
  • Good analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
  • Familiarity with the forecast process.
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, queries, and macros.
  • Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office and function-specific software.
