About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Oilandgas.Org as a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst. As a key member of our Controlling & Planning Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to update budgets and forecasting models.
- Identify trends and problems, and communicate insights to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.
- Support the analysis of business performance versus plan and propose improvement actions.
- Perform benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses.
- Work with the management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and identify market trends.
- Prepare financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyze impact to the organization.
- Validate the accuracy of financial data and business information through reconciliation and review of exceptions.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in financial statement analysis (balance sheet, P&L) and in cost center and expense analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and solid foundations in accounting.
- Advanced level of English communication.
- Highly adept in Excel is a must. Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in a transnational company and/or Big Four company is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset, good communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Valid American visa and passport is desirable.
