Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Professional with International Expertise to join our team at Global Fleet Management. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our Mexican subsidiary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial guidance and support to the Mexican finance team, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management and control.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve financial ambiguities and provide support as needed.
  • Assist with annual operating budget and review/audit engagements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with Mexican taxation laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and optimal tax planning.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Mexican Finance team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on international finance and taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican taxation laws and regulations, including IVA, ISR, and fiscal invoicing.
  • Experience with Contpaqi, including all three modules: Contabilidad, Bancos, and Comercial.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
