- Cloud Security: Implement and maintain security best practices in cloud environments, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and monitor system monitoring and logging solutions using cloud-native tools, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams to understand their requirements and integrate new deployment processes and strategies, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document processes, systems, and configurations to maintain a robust knowledge base, ensuring that team members have access to the information they need to perform their jobs effectively.
- 5+ years of experience working as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
- Expertise with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and platforms.
- Understanding of cloud security practices and experience with security tools integration.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud services and platforms (AWS, Azure & GCP) including their service-oriented architecture and APIs.
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Passionate about building useful cloud technologies for the organization.
- An agile mindset and proficiency in agile ways of working.
- Cloud ecosystems knowledge.
- Familiar with ITIL framework.
- Problem-solving attitude and team spirit.
- A proactive approach to spotting and communicating problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience working within a global team and organization.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
