Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Global Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Autozone. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of international shipments from Asia to the United States.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, NVOCCs, ocean carriers, and customs brokers to resolve issues and provide direction to third-party partners.
- Provide detailed reporting on last-mile shipments between ports and rail terminals to distribution centers.
- Audit and prepare international logistics invoices for payment, including ocean carrier, NVOCC, drayage provider, and trans-load operator invoices.
- Maintain contracted rate sheets and audit invoices for accuracy.
- Set up new vendors in the Accounts Payable system and troubleshoot inaccurate invoices.
- Publish monthly container volume reports and maintain Autozone's international logistics order management system.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups
- High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience, or four-year college degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree in Supply Chain or Transportation/Logistics
- Prior internship in a corporate setting
- Supply chain exposure
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
