About the Role

Celestica is seeking a highly experienced Director of Operational Excellence to lead our Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Americas region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through process improvements, employee engagement, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement CI Strategy: Determine and implement a comprehensive Continuous Improvement strategy for the company and region, driving CI across the Enterprise.
  • Lead CI Transformation: Drive the adoption and measurement of the Systematic CI Framework Standards, including key system elements like CI Committee and Management Gemba, while reflecting on and enhancing the Standards.
  • Build and Develop CI Team: Manage and develop the CI Regional team/trainers to lead the CI culture within the region, providing hands-on leadership and motivation to site and regional personnel to implement Lean and Six Sigma best practices.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with key business stakeholders to build a CI environment and culture to support a change management program, driving the sharing, deployment, and recognition of best practices.
  • Lead Process Improvement Workshops: Lead and facilitate process improvement-based CI workshops to drive ideas and solutions to achieve the site's objectives, providing the annual CI activities execution plan, taking the lead on executing activities, and performance enhancement to accomplish business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in the EMS industry, with a proven track record of leading/facilitating a CI transformation and deploying CI in another location.
  • Education: Bachelor Degree.
  • Skills: Strong professional acumen, effective written and verbal communication skills, proven project management and organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priority tasks in a manner that meets business requirements.
