About The Role

The Field Inventory Manager will oversee the daily operations of the consignment inventory team, including managing inventory records accuracy, conducting root-cause analysis of failures, and implementing corrective actions. The successful candidate will also work closely with internal business units and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvements and drive strategic automation and improvement initiatives that align with the company's goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control consignment inventories, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and meeting sales forecasts.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management processes, including physical counting, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure accurate forecasting and ordering of consignment inventory.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt resolution of issues and provision of excellent customer service.
  • Work closely with the logistics manager to ensure seamless integration of inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in a leadership position of inventory control or consignment inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders and negotiate with them effectively.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects effectively.
  • Strong skills in using SAP software applications.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in industrial engineering or supply-chain management.
  • C1 level proficiency in English.
