Inventory Specialist

**Education**:

- A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is often preferred.
**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field is typically required.
- Knowledge of inventory control systems and software.
Analytical Skills:

- Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Excel, Google Sheets,

Attention to Detail:

- Precision and attention to detail are crucial to ensure accurate inventory records.
Communication Skills:

- Good communication skills to coordinate with different departments, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency:

- Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet software like Excel for data analysis.
Problem-Solving Skills:

- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, stockouts, and excess inventory.
Organizational Skills:

- Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
Mathematical Aptitude:

- An understanding of mathematical concepts for calculating inventory levels, turnover, and other related metrics.
Teamwork:

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Adaptability:

- Ability to adapt to changes in inventory processes, technology, and business requirements.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management:

- Understanding of broader supply chain processes and how inventory management fits into the overall supply chain.
Physical Inventory Planning:

- Experience in planning and organizing physical inventory counts.
- Ability to create schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate teams for efficient inventory audits.
Sense of Urgency:

- Operating with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines, especially during critical inventory processes such as stock counts or audits.
- Efficiently managing time and resources to achieve timely results.
