Merchandise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a Merchandise Coordinator. This role is responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, completing requisition forms, and notifying managers of low stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in the facility, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts to ensure efficient storage and organization.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
• Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels to prevent stockouts and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness and quality.
• Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality throughout case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items to maintain product integrity.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas to ensure a safe working environment.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains to maintain a clean and hygienic workspace.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas to maintain a clutter-free environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000, depending on location and experience.
