Required Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with a focus on packaging design and management.

- Preferably 2 years of experience within the Automotive sector.

Essential Knowledge:

- Understanding of material handling principles.

- Familiarity with specific client requirements.

- Proficiency in managing packaging segments in customer portals.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Language Proficiency:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the development, validation, and timely provision of packaging for both new and ongoing projects. Adhere to the timelines outlined in the product realization plan (PRP) for packaging deliveries. Create and maintain organized documentation in line with customer and supplier packaging specifications, ensuring follow-up until formal approval is received. Generate and manage documentation related to drawings, specifications, fleet calculations, requisitions, and packaging purchase orders. Foster communication with clients and suppliers to align strategies for effective packaging management. Implement, enhance, and uphold packaging standards for both suppliers and clients. Develop standardized packaging guidelines that prioritize safety, quality, ergonomics, plant layout, and material flow efficiency. Conduct tests aimed at improving existing packaging solutions. Collaborate with both direct and indirect suppliers to ensure compliance with established packaging standards. Maintain the packaging database (PFEP), ensuring that part number information is current. Coordinate special projects focused on continuous improvement and efficiency in packaging, flow, and storage. Participate in project meetings, engineering changes, and logistics processes. Develop business cases aimed at achieving cost savings in packaging initiatives. Follow up on activities defined with regional and global Packaging teams. Provide support for material handling optimization projects and logistics enhancements. Ensure compliance with information security protocols (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability).
