Job Description

We're looking for a Data Architect Lead who can help us both strategically and tactically. From the strategy side, it's about organizing a scalable self-service and datamart/dataset optimization. From the tactical side, we're looking at some performance improvements and design considerations for exiting products.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Organize a scalable self-service and optimize datamarts/datasets.
  • Work strategically to improve performance and design exiting products.
  • Collaborate with architects to drive business adoption of OLAP cubes.
  • Develop and modernize Business Intelligence architecture.
  • Guide development teams to best-in-class solutions that are scalable and performant in an Enterprise space.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with BI solution development and Power BI Datasets.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and driving business adoption of OLAP Cubes using SSRS, SSAS (MDX), and Azure Analysis Services Cubes.
  • Experience in data analysis in SQL, data cleansing, and processing in Python and other languages.
  • Proficient in Semantic models, underlying Data Lake and data models, and BI DW methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of storage and compute services in Azure, Azure SQL Server, and microservices.
