Job Description

Eaton's AER Aerospace Group division is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support business SCM in procurement operations. This role will be responsible for executing procurement-to-pay processes for assigned Aerospace facilities, ensuring high-quality customer service and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support business SCM in procurement operations, including supplier and part setup, purchase order management, scheduling, planning, and payment process management.
  • Manage a complete range of procurement functions, including understanding materials purchased, negotiations with suppliers, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, ITAR, and EAR classifications.
  • Request RFQs to suppliers, analyze RFQs, and recommend commodity managers/plants on the RFQ/suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding PO placement and management.
  • Expediting, de-expediting, canceling, past due, and PO acknowledgement.
  • Discrete PO order placement and PO justification according to government and internal controls.
  • Invoices on hold: understand issues and resolve to ensure payment.
  • Supplier management: work on supplier addition/modification in the system.
  • Report management: generate and analyze reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience in SCM processes.
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with any ERP system.
  • English and Spanish language fluency (writing, reading, speaking).
  • Good communication skills for remote teamwork.
  • Quick response to deadlines and priorities.
  • Hands-on experience in purchasing functions.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
