Job Description

Capital One is seeking a seasoned technology leader to oversee the management of our cloud infrastructure and software engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple teams of software engineers and cloud infrastructure specialists
  • Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategies to support business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with product leaders to define technology roadmaps and architectures
  • Ensure the scalability, availability, and resilience of cloud-based applications
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and software engineering

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and cloud computing
  • 7+ years of experience in people management and team leadership
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure management
  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • 13+ years of experience in software development and cloud computing
  • 8+ years of experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP)
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile practices
  • 7+ years of experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
