Executive Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Executive Account Manager to join our team as a Senior Territory Account Executive (TAE). As a TAE, you will be responsible for managing an assigned territory in support of the Public Sector region, selling directly to State, Local, and Education customers, fulfilling through the channel.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas. They will also possess exceptional opportunity discovery and deal qualification skills, value proposition presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned territory in support of the Public Sector region, selling directly to State, Local, and Education customers, fulfilling through the channel
- Generate and pursue leads and opportunities to achieve sales quotas, creating, executing, and maintaining a territory account plan from prospecting to building and maintaining a constant revenue pipeline
- Engage with customers to understand their business pain points, priorities, and business drivers, to align Sophos solutions to customers' desired outcomes
- Work with the Channel Sales team and partner community to create a pipeline through indirect engagements, collaborating with sales engineering and channel partners throughout the sales cycle to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and high adoption of Sophos technology
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas
- Strong understanding of the public sector sales cycle, buyer personas, and decision-making processes
- Exceptional opportunity discovery and deal qualification skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
