Job Description:

Schneider Electric is accelerating the deployment of Additive Manufacturing technology. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in spearheading innovation in an international group poised to meet the environmental challenges of tomorrow.

This promising technology enables us to meet the constraints of developing Schneider Electric's products and ranges in terms of technical, economic, speed of execution, and environmental impact. You will be part of the Center of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing, responsible for integrating this technology as an alternative to conventional processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and leverage different AM technologies and materials to drive innovation.
  • Develop and deliver training materials for internal design teams to support Additive Manufacturing integration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to execute use cases across the hubs.
  • Create and leverage internal and external relationships with engineering resources to become the trusted advisor for AM.
  • Design and develop 3D models for printing of parts and support the execution with lab resources.
  • Share best practices across Hubs.
  • Support the execution of the Additive Manufacturing roadmap, leveraging global expertise and global technology partnerships.
  • Develop communication and presentation materials to tell compelling stories in support of Additive Manufacturing technology program investments.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Creo or comparable CAD software.
  • Experience with design and producing parts with 3D printers.
  • Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting technical presentations and training sessions.
  • Candidate must be energetic, a self-starter, and able to work effectively with little supervision.
  • Expected travel will be around 30% depending on project work.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing or related technical support roles.
  • Strong understanding of Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
