We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance of our manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the maintenance team, developing and implementing maintenance procedures, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and develop plans to address them
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities align with business objectives
  • Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses to ensure that costs are within approved limits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision/administration in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, mechanical, electromechanical systems, and programmable controllers/PLCs
  • Experience working with injection molding machines, extruders, motors, drives, air compressors, chillers, regulators, water pumps, and other manufacturing equipment
  • Validated experience working under Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing environments
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
