Job Title: Entertainment Director

About the Job: We are seeking an Entertainment Director to lead our entertainment department and provide exceptional guest experiences at SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement community services and entertainment programs, including special events and contract services.
• Establish schedules and methods for providing entertainment services and identify resource needs.
• Participate in the development of goals and objectives, and make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards and policies.
• Prepare community event and entertainment publicity, and coordinate referral systems and the publication of seasonal brochures.
• Identify community needs and recommend appropriate programs.
• Prepare periodic reports and maintain files and records.
• Conduct and supervise special events, and develop contracts and hire contracted instructors.
• Maintain and design the online entertainment registration program.
• Serve as liaison on various community-related committees and subcommittees.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and order supplies and materials.
• Participate in the selection of part-time entertainment team members, provide or coordinate training, and work with team members to correct deficiencies.
• Participate in the preparation and administration of the entertainment program budget.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar leadership role for 3+ years, preferably in a luxury and/or lifestyle hospitality setting.
• Proactive and good judgment in dealing with challenging situations.
• Professionalism, integrity, humility, and transparency in motives, methods, and expected results.
• Ability to own mistakes and share knowledge to prevent repetition.
• Conduct business honestly and fairly.
