Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Quality Specialist - Big Data Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering business requirements, translating them into data cleansing rules, and supporting the development of our Data Quality Application. You will also perform root cause analysis, engage with appropriate teams, and ensure timely error resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into data cleansing rules for our Data Quality Application.
  • Support the development needed for Data Quality Application with our technical team.
  • Perform root cause analysis by engaging with relevant teams and ensuring timely error resolution.
  • Participate and lead (as required) team touchpoints with internal teams and broader project teams to ensure proper communication and priority alignment for delivery.
  • Train, document, and transfer knowledge across all business functions and levels on data maintenance processes.
  • Support execution for mock conversions and conversion cutover activities.
  • Ensure adherence to PepsiCo's data protection policies, related corporate policies, and process guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with/manipulating big data sets.
  • Understanding of data quality/data cleansing practices.
  • Demonstrated documentation acumen, presentation of data standards materials for reporting to project stakeholders alignment.
  • Ability to use automated tools to assist in data analysis/cleansing process tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across project teams.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Fluent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Desire and ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability through training, experimentation, and self-study.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year
