The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000-$180,000, depending on location and experience.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced IT SAP Basis Manager to lead our service operations in the Americas region. As a key member of our Global De-Escalation Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring stable support operations and service delivery of our Global Enterprise Solutions systems within a DevOps environment.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in SAP ERP systems, and experience in managing complex IT services environments. You will work closely with our global service lines and regional SLMs to resolve operational issues and customer concerns.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and concisely both written and verbally.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead day-to-day service operations for Global Enterprise applications in the Americas region, including incident management, triaging, and major incident management.
  2. Ensure alignment to agreed BAT global Target Operating Model (TOM) processes and standardized ITIL IT Service Management processes.
  3. Work closely with global service lines and regional SLMs to resolve operational issues and customer concerns.
  4. Partner engagement & management across various levels within the organization and with service providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 6-8 years' postgraduate experience in managing sophisticated IT services environments.
  • Experience in SAP ERP systems (FICO, cFIN, MM/WM, BASIS) covering functional or technical.
  • Knowledge of standard process IT Service Management best practice (ITIL) including Incident Management and Problem Management.
  • Vendor and service management experience.
  • Able to work independently and drive outcomes through suppliers to deliver against agreed SLAs.
