Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Facilities Engineer to join our team in Ramos Arizpe. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless operation of our facilities, designing and overseeing construction projects, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Construction: Develop and implement plans for new facility construction, ensuring functional, efficient, and safe operations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance programs for facilities and equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
  • Facility Management: Supervise facility maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors, ensuring seamless operations and effective resource allocation.
  • Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability, implementing solutions to reduce environmental impact.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with other departments to prioritize facility-related projects, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities are equipped with necessary safety equipment, and staff is trained to use it, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, expenses, and equipment performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management, mechanical systems, or a related field, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Skills: Experience with Lean Manufacturing fundamentals, capital equipment procurement, and specification, purchase, qualification, and installation.
