About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Development Manager to lead our supply chain initiatives globally. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business enhancements, process improvements, and cost savings through strategic program management.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, program management rigor, relationship building, and business analysis. You will work closely with senior project sponsors, project team members, and stakeholders across the organization to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Define project scope, goals, benefits, and deliverables, and create, maintain, and communicate project plans throughout the life of the project.
  2. Manage activities across all functional areas of a project, manage relationships with key stakeholders, manage project risks and issues, coach and manage the project team to drive completion of deliverables.
  3. Act as a key advisor to senior management on the development of overall supply chain strategies and long-term goals of the organization.
  4. Advise on best practices for achieving successful implementation of strategy within the context of your projects.
Requirements
  • Relevant Project Management experience leading supply chain programs globally and across multiple business units, functions, and geographies.
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge across multiple supply chain disciplines and business units, with an understanding of emerging trends.
  • Typical experience includes leading, designing, and/or implementing large-scale supply chain programs globally and across multiple business units, functions, and geographies.
  • Knowledge of cross-industry manufacturing activities including Quality Management Systems, New Product Introduction, manufacturing validation & design testing, and engineering operations best practices.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience as a consultant, preferably in large consulting firms.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, and information processing.
  • Proven track record of project delivery, especially with global teams working in a highly matrixed structure.
