We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Import/Export Coordinator to join our team at FabricAir. As a key member of our global logistics department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of shipments of our products, working with international suppliers and customers, transporters, and agents to oversee compliance with customs trade agreements, security, and tax regulations.
This position requires a professional with skills in communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and implementing systems and policies to manage documentation, packaging, labeling, insurance, and payment processing required for shipping materials around the world.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute import / export processes efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and information to regulatory authorities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and custom brokers to facilitate smooth import/export operations.
- Obtain, operate, and update IMMEX Annex 24 databases for industrial companies and C-TPAT certification.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for SAP & IMMEX and Annex 24 gap.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant higher education, such as a degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistic, or a related field.
- Proven experience in import/export management, preferably in international markets.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with IMMEX and CTPAT certification processes, PROSEC and Eight Rule management.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican custom regulations and tax laws.
