Program Manager Role Overview:

Creation Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to oversee the management, performance, and completion of major account programs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating proposal preparation, establishing and monitoring project plans and schedules, and developing and maintaining key customer contacts and relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of account program management, operating in a matrix management capacity with functional areas such as production, planning, materials management, quality, engineering, and new business development
  2. Assign priorities to multiple competing activities, balancing short and long-term needs
  3. Monitor and analyze cost, revenue, and profitability performance of programs, providing revenue forecasts and ensuring products are completed on time and within budget
  4. Review and approve program expenditures, conduct financial result reviews with the management team, and ensure ROI
  5. Prepare monthly program financial and operational reports for management review and lead management presentations and Customer Quarterly Business Reviews
  6. Ensure program operational metrics are in place and effectively managed, monitoring key operational performance metrics such as on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, price for value, and use of technology
  7. Assist with managing and executing new programs in accordance with budget, schedule, and technical objectives, leveraging relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts
  8. Ensure customer projects meet customer expectations and are delivered on time
  9. Align stakeholders on deliverables, manage communication, champion meetings, and ensure updates are provided to customers in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skill, knowledge, and abilities

Minimum of four years of progressive business management and/or manufacturing operations experience

Minimum two years in a Program Management role

Experience managing projects from concept through production, material control/scheduling, and cost accounting/budgeting

Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen is an asset

Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning System such as Oracle or similar systems

Required Skills:

Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation

Excellent judgment, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex problems and see them through to resolution

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Executive-level presence with exceptional business acumen, possessing overall leadership qualities and abilities

Team-oriented, with demonstrated ability to work with others to drive targeted outcomes

Flexible and able to deal with multiple, changing priorities

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, contracts, terms and conditions, technical procedures, and/or regulations furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Demonstrated ability working with complex reports and MRP database systems

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

General understanding of financial concepts (i.e., budgeting and analysis) as well as planning, scheduling, and forecasting knowledge

Applied knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook)
