Senior Analog and Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer

You will work as an analog designer at Micron's Mexico Design Center, leveraging expertise in mixed signal circuit design to drive innovation. As a member of the IP Development Group, you will focus on designing critical and standard circuits common to all DRAM related memory products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, optimize, and verify block-level circuits for all DRAM related projects at Micron.
- Utilize both analog and digital CMOS design skills to work on various circuits, including I/O's, voltage regulators, generators, amplifiers, oscillators, pumps, translators, repair-related circuits, DLL, and standard control logic.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering to verify silicon performance vs simulation performance of designed circuits.
- Work closely with Process integration and transistor modeling personnel to design circuits for Micron's next leading-edge process node.
- Provide layout supervision and optimize layout throughout post-layout simulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in analog IC design, including regulators, charge pumps, oscillators, current references, bandgap, and comparator design.
- Past circuit debug experience through Product Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in the memory industry, either flash or DRAM, is a plus.
- Proficiency in UNIX and CADENCE design environment (simulation, schematic entry, SPF extraction).
- Experience with circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to design peers.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Understanding of device physics and basic CMOS processing techniques is preferred.
- Experience with PERL or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Highly motivated and self-starter with multi-tasking ability.
Education
MSEE + 5 or BSEE + 10 years' post-graduate mix-mode or analog circuit design experience.
15+ years' experience is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome.
