Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Veritiv Corporation. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling corrugated components to complete packaging sets. This role requires occasional lifting of up to 22 kg and may involve the use of forklifts and manual pallet jacks. You will need to remain on your feet for the entire shift and perform repetitive bending, stooping, and lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assemble corrugated components efficiently and accurately
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Assemble components following instructions and established processes
* Handle inventory with care and attention to quality, eliminating damage
* Adhere to safety rules and policies, as well as maintenance standards, and conduct regular equipment inspections
* Operate assigned warehouse equipment to perform job functions
* Participate in annual inventory

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent and related experience
* Preferably experience operating material handling equipment

Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand for long periods
* Ability to stop, bend, and turn repeatedly
* Ability to identify sets and components by label and visual inspection
* Ability to assemble components efficiently
* Ability to follow instructions and diagrams for assembly
* Ability to work in a team environment with multiple other team members
