- Collaborate with peers to develop technical proposals and contribute to internal tools that optimize our development processes.
- Assist our skilled support team and operations team in triaging and resolving issues.
- Lead technical architecture discussions and drive technical decisions.
- Write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other developers.
- 8+ years of experience building web applications professionally in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing applications in React with Javascript/Typescript.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing software in Java (SpringBoot, open source libraries) and deployed in the cloud (AWS preferred).
- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
- Strong understanding of testing and the test pyramid, pipelines, and feedback loops.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.
