Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Collections Specialist to join our team at Well Placed. This role will play a vital part in managing accounts receivable for our clients in Mexico and the United States, primarily with distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate payments from customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Create manual invoices according to customers' needs and requirements.
- Send closing balances to all customers on a monthly basis.
- Post manual journals in SAP to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collect aging items and resolve any discrepancies.
- Release blocked orders on the system to ensure seamless operations.
- Allocate payments from various sources, including OXXO and Walmart.
- Generate reports on aging invoices to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conciliate invoices and weekly payments to ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable roles.
- Knowledge of accounting systems, including SAP.
- Effective communication skills and ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Preferably experience working with distributors in Mexico and the United States.
- English conversational language (MUST).
Economic Offer:
We offer a competitive monthly gross salary of $25,000 to $29,000, as well as a range of benefits, including:
