Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Controller to lead the financial function in our manufacturing site in Piedras Negras. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, process improvements, and compliance with accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team that ensures compliance with accounting regulations, including audits and financial compliance with corporate and local policies, SOX controls, and transfer pricing regulations.
- Analyze production costs and/or locations P&L, identify ways to increase profitability, and propose improvements of controls and control environment.
- Assess issues and develop resolutions in collaboration with business and operational management, ensuring timely and accurate period closing and subsequent submissions to Corporate HQ and management.
- Manage local statutory requirements and support annual financials and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or university degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a global manufacturing company.
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing cost analysis.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office and strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
