About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans.
  • Work with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Use testing tools and techniques to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and other development teams.
  • Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, standups, and other ceremonies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process and methodologies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on front-end and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of testing APIs and backend systems.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
